Manos del Uruguay yarn is dyed by a cooperative of women in the rural villages of Uruguay. This cooperative provides much needed income to approximately 350 women working in 17 locations. Manos Classica Wool is spun from a blend of super soft Corriedale and Merino wools. We currently carry the following yarns by Manos del Uruguay: Manos del Uruguay Wool Clasica in semi-solids and multis, Manos Cotton Stria, and Manos Silk Blend in semi-solids and multis.
